With many of the top races occurring in states that have laws delaying ballot counting, it leads to many questions revolving around the idea of mail-in and absentee ballots and their usability. It is a challenge to imagine why in 2022 we are still hand-counting ballots that are ultimately just raising questions of legitimacy for Americans. As election day comes, it is hard to image that we may not know the results to the election for weeks afterwards in what is set to be a very important election. Though it all may come down to laws, and mail-in ballot counting.
